Here We Go Again

Sydney's getting a tooth!

I look at Sydney's mouth all the time to see if she's got any teeth yet. Well, today I checked and I can see a little bit of a tooth poking out of her bottom gums. It's so exciting. That confirms my suspicions of her crankiness being caused by teething. I wonder if it still hurts after it's poked through. Can't wait to get a good picture.

Update on Thieves Suck

Well, we didn't catch them, but we did get the window fixed and it was covered under our insurance. The glass company even came out to our house and fixed the window here and vaccumed our car out. That was nice. The dashboard wasn't damages so it snapped back in and Josh's parents had an old radio that we might be able to put in. So, I guess we are lucky and everything worked out in the end. Except these people got away and they are probably ruining other people's lives as we speak all in the name of drugs. So sad. I'm glad I can raise my children in a better environment and teach them the right ways of life. Hopefully. :)

We went to our meeting to talk "money" about buying a home in Sierra Morado. We came home excited about it thinking we could afford it, but after calculating what are net income will be before everything else we decided this home we want is a little too expensive for our budget. I keep trying to talk myself into believing we can afford it, but it would not be wise to get into a home we can't afford. So, we will think about buying the next smallest house they have and see if we can afford that and if it is what we want. It's hard living on one salary, but it's not worth it for me to put Sydney in daycare. Granted it is for some, but not for me. I love watching Sydney grow and learn and develop and I want to be the one to see this. I don't want someone else reporting to me that she took her first step that day or said her first word. I want to be there as long as I can. Yesterday I went in to get Sydney up from her nap and she was totally rolled onto her tummy. I couldn't believe that. Then this morning she was crying at an unusual hour for her and I went in and she was on her tummy again. She just can't figure out how to roll back. She's so funny.

Well, I better go and do some work. Here's what the smaller house would look like. It really is kind of cute and it would be a nice step up from what we have.

Theives SUCK

Last night our car was broken into. Actually it happened around 5:30 during the DAY! When people are coming home from work. These people were desperate. They stole my stereo which they'll only get about ten bucks for, but they caused up to $1000 in damage. That's what really pisses me off. This is the second time my car has been broken into for the stereo. My biggest complaint is they should have broken the driver side window since that one is already not working. Now we have two windows to replace plus a non working AC plus breaks plus a million other little things. I'm through with cars. They are such a waste. Anyway this makes me want to get a gun. If I had caught these guys I would have ....

Well, today has still been good despite our troubles. Josh gets tomorrow off work so he may start working on our kitchen. We are getting excited about selling this place and buying a real home in a safer community. We can't stop thinking about buying a home.

My baby's growing up

I bought this whale that squirts water out of its spout in the water and Sydney loves it. As I was giving her a bath tonight I was pushing the button to make the water out Sydney put her little finger over the spout so the water couldn't come out. I don't know why this was so amazing to me, but it was! I underestimate her intelligence all the time and was thinking about how I need to watch that especally as she gets older. She just seems so smart for being a baby. It is so fun to watch her discover new things and to see her curiosity over the smallest things.

I sure love her.

These photos were taken last week at Picture People. The first one is my favorite. The second one I actually went back to the store for. I told myself I would only buy one, but after thinking about it for a few days I decided I had to have this one too. I love that little eyebrow raised. She looks so sassy and grown up.

Swimming

Josh and I are house sitting for his parents until this Sunday. It is kind of fun to take care of a house because it gets me excited about having my own. It's also fun to have a pool in the backyard although I never want one of my own. At least not until all of my kids are older. We sure are getting anxious to buy a new house. Maybe in the next month we will find out more about what we can afford and where we will be living for sure. It's exciting but hard to be patient. Here are some photos of Sydney swimming on Saturday. She sure is a cutie.

I love her little wrinkly feet!

Pirates 2

We went to see Pirates 2 last night and it was pretty good. Just be prepared for a sequel's ending. I hate that because I have no patience. It was still good though, lots of action, a bit gorry compared to the last one.

We waited in line for an hour even after we printed tickets out online. It was crazy. The funniest part of it all was people cheered when Johnny Depp came on the screen.
People are funny.

I would see it again.

Happy Fourth of July

Today is the Fourth of July! I've always liked this day ever since I was a kid. It is just a fun day with fireworks and celebration. I am so grateful to be in this country and to enjoy the freedoms I have. We are such lucky people in America and sometimes we take it for granted. It is only fair that we help other people receive this opportunity.

I took a few pictures of Sydney in her fourth of July outfit but, I will have to post them later. Happy Fourth everyone!!! Remember what we are celebrating.
